All it takes is a few minutes of leisurely exercise every day, finds new research from the National Institutes of Health.The National Cancer Institute—a branch of the NIH—tracked the exercise habits and health outcomes of roughly 650,000 adults, most of whom were over the age of 40. Here’s what the researchers figured out: Those who completed 2.5 hours of moderate exercise every week—or half that amount of vigorous exercise—upped their life expectancy by up to 4.5 years. "
